Anyone. We welcome debut authors, established authors, and self-publishers looking for extra support. We're open to all genres, with a preference for clean stories that have little to no explicit content.
No. You can submit anything from a completed, edited draft to an early outline. Just let us know honestly where things stand so we can guide you accordingly.
Every submission is read by a real person. Response times vary with volume, but we aim to reply with next steps as soon as we're able.
Not at all. We started with roots in African diaspora storytelling and that community will always hold a special place with us, but Ziora is genuinely open to authors of every background, worldwide.
Services & Pricing

Yes. Editing, ghostwriting, cover design, and formatting are all available a la carte, whether or not you publish with us.

Your rate expectations, a portfolio or writing sample, your resume or CV, and your availability for an intro call and for taking on work. All of this is collected in our application form.
Both. Some freelancers work with us on a single project, others become regular collaborators across many books.
